“Speed” style sporters appreciation thread!

It seems to me that more than a few of us are in love with the Lee Speeds, sadly for a lot of us, owning an original is near unobtainable, either from lack of funds, the fact they aren’t all that common or when one is found it normally sells instantly.
From this I have noticed a few of us have gone the route of having a sporter built in the Speed style, Although I would love to get my hands on a legit Lee Speed, I am lucky enough to own a “Speed style” sporter of my own imagining built on a B.S.A. 1902 action in .303 that I hunt with here in Australia.

I know I for one would love to see what everyone has built or had built in the lee Speed style for themselves.

I own a lee speed action Rigby 303. It is a pearler. I only wish I could post a photo on this site.

There was a thread titled "Poor Mans Version of the Lee Speed" dating back to 2011 that had some nice specimens, as well as an extensive discussion.

I have a Santa Fe Enfield from the 70s. They took surplus rifles and re-imagined them into Speed-esque rifles complete with the 5 round mag and sporter sights. Its not a real Lee Speed; but its pretty fast....

Add a Paradox and a Howdah and its time to hunt cats

G'Day Yuma. Yes, plenty of Lee Speed patterns here, including several original 375 forends. I've got a few of my own sporting stock patterns for them too.

I've got a bunch of them cut oversize, well rested and ready for final machining. You are welcome to look them over and choose a stick next time you are down.

I'm not machining anything for the next 6 weeks approx, I copped a hand injury some months back which has slowed me down enough that I've not been machining stocks on the side like I usually do.
