After the stock was repaired and before leaving for my trip the rifle was shooting fine, and it hit where I aimed on the trip. In fact, it was not even a bit off on the buff shot at 40 yards. I have shot the gun only once since returning to the U.S., and it seems to be shooting differently than before. But I need to shoot it more to work out where things stand. Although perhaps I should save the ammo and wait for the new stock.

Butch has me scheduled for the stock work in February.
