Something to actually believe. Visit Franz Josef's little hunting lodge in the Czech Republic. Southern Bohemia 45 minutes South West of Prague. I forget its name but will remember. Its a lovely little castle near a lake and surrounded by forests.

Emperor Franz Josef wasn't a very keen hunter only shooting some 300,000 animals during his life. Many of them hang in this castle. There are tours in German, French, Czech, Polish and they will sell you an English tour which is in German if you are lucky

He had an indoor shooting range with lots of little articulated targets. Arms and armour, some rooms which you will enjoy such as his Persian or Turkish parlour.

A nice game restaurant with lots of game displays in a two story house on the road up to the castle. Great venison, boar, game birds etc.

There is a cheap hotel nearby which is really cheap but really crappy and gives you an experience of quality local travel from the communist past.

An open air market is setup in an area opposite the road up to the castle.
