As you mention, they usually go into the thickest woods possible when being bayed. What I did not mention in the report, is that very often, the moose will get away when being bayed because they either hear or smell the hunter approaching. And when they do, they know it's time to get the hell out of there and not stop for a very long time! So it's not usually quite as easy as I had it this time. Erik |
