I was pointed to this article so that I could read about the Elkhound. I am looking for a dog that can track wounded game or blood trail to the dead animal in timber or brush. I would also use it to flush game from brush or bay it. The animals hunted are in California and are black-tailed deer, black bears and wild boars.
