Hi, need help and advice before we pay any deposits.

We have just returned from Spain on a house hunting exercise and have found what may be the perfect new home for us but for one thing, what’s the hunting like.

Well you have to get your priorities right, right?

The property is approximately 20 minutes south of Murcia and handy for all the local motorways. I don’t mind a drive, I currently have to drive a couple of hours into Scotland to my deer ground but I would hate to have to drive a day to reach anything.

Does anyone know this area?
Is there any hunting?

The other question I have is regarding importation of rifles into Spain on a permanent basis.

Anyone done this?
Is it easy to get the necessary licences or extensions to my UK licence?
Any problems with 30-06 and a 450/400 Double?
Can’t be as difficult as the UK surly, can it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated; we’ve had enough of the UK.
