Sarge you are right on target. I actually have had the opportunity to hunt wild cattle in California on a few occassions and it was great. They were in dense brush with mixed open grasslands. Close to very long shots with open sights. The Federal 338 Win Mag Safari load with 250 grain Noslers were perfect, but one old bull took three hits. Ya might need more gun!
