No, I am quite far from the Pyrenees, about 500 kilometers.
But nature is beautiful everywhere. Here it’s Mediterranean vegetation, it’s very heavily stuffed, but it wouldn’t make a hunter dream. Yet a hundred years ago it was surely paradise on earth. But I am near a quite big city, with all the problems that implies... many people everywhere, hideous constructions.
But since the countryside is very rugged, I can shoot quietly.
There are also many vineyards, with hares, and multitudes of wild boars everywhere.
The big advantage for me is that I am there in five minutes. When I have a moment, I take my dogs, a rifle, it’s done quickly.
