The extreme bias against hunting in mainstream media is real

The extreme bias against hunting in mainstream media is real. They don't care, and they neither see nor mind the obvious exposure of their hypocrisy.

This 2023 front page from The Mirror is my favorite example.

I wonder if the "sick killing trade" headline refers to Jamie Oliver's brutally killed turkey on the top-right or the dead reindeer in the bottom photo?

I guess everyone knows that sleazy tabloids like "The Mirror" only have one agenda: Selling newspapers. They don't care about truth, perspective, the bigger picture, or the consequences of their "campaigns". As long as the rubbish they print keeps the dying media alive for another day.

I hunted red deer in Scotland a few weeks ago. I fail to see the difference between reindeer hunting in countries with reindeer populations and red deer, fallow deer, and roe deer hunting in the UK. All these UK species are routinely managed with hunting. (just as reindeer) This practice creates jobs and income in rural economies and adds value to nature, which is a great incentive to protect nature.

Thousands of UK hunting trophies are kept as mementos of good experiences in the hills by UK and foreign hunters every year.

Tons of super healthy venison end up on dinner plates. The same goes for reindeer in countries where they are hunted.

So, what the fox is the actual problem with reindeer hunting?

The problem with the anti-hunting press is that they are ignorant nitwits who are greedy enough to disregard truth and fabricate horror stories just to make a buck.

P.S. reindeer are delicious (just as red deer and turkeys)
