Yes it does. I just read that there is some methods whose minimize that taste. Maybe next time (if it ever comes) I have to test them. Many years ago my other friend shot a big beaver and then my old pal gave me a recipe how to prepare beavers meat before making food. It worked well but meat need big amount of added fat because nobody could eat beavers own.
