Thanks guys - my pleasure!

On gun going off - it was a surreal experience - you know the one that you always think it happens to others...We always prepare and act in a away to avoid it, however - people are people and things will and do happen...heads up guys take even more care!

P.S. And about the guy that let it off - poor creature was just miserable beyond comprehension after that - I actually felt almost sorry about him once the dust settled - not taking in account if he'd hit me...sobering by all means...

I always find interesting how they are so similar to our N AMerican elk, yet have the more gray faces than the elk here..

Awesome looking animals..your a lucky man.. and based on your story, more ways than one..

I too feel bad for the guy who's gun went off, BUT, man, caution always needs to be at the forefront when out and about..

The guy who's ranch I took over, before he passsed, he would go bow hunting..but only had 1 arm, so used a cross bow.. He would walk around with an arrow in it, cocked.. I NEVER would walk in front of him in any direction..The guy was a walking hazard most times.. was very careless with rifles, shotguns, whatever.. Frankly amazed I never got shot by him in all those years and time we spent together..Super nice guy, but their bullets and mistakes are just as deadly as those who aren't.
