hard to imagine today this bird was once more common in the alps but its seen now regularly again. he is flying north in summer time coming from the Balkan or Spain, southern France.
one young vulture from southern France reach Finnland in 2000. very unusual area for an vulture at all.




Only just looked at this thread, some great stuff on here, but the Vulture was a surprise to me, heck if we shot one in Africa we would be in Deep shit, found a dead one once & was hoping to get the skull for my collection, my buddy said no way to take it or even touch it, darn !
