Do you remember your first adventures in nature? The fresh morning air, the cool dew that rests on the leaves ... The first touch of a forest mushroom? The hare that seems so huge from the point of view of a little boy ... it's memories that we all carry deep inside us and sometimes we wish those times back ..."

Yes, I do and still revel in it, in late September or early October, leaning back against a huge spruce or pine tree, sitting on the pine or spruce cone 'cuttings' and dropped needles, just soaking it all in. It's all part and parcel of living, really living, in God's Country.
