In France, breeding calling ducks and mainly duck placement is a science. The breeding is thorougly done so as to produce different type of calling ducks. The best are the females which can vocalize up 10 different cries. Each female displays his own type of cry.
The number and the placement of the ducks is very important. It depends on moon, tide, season, wind and temperature. The breeders are real lunatics and they obtain fantastic results.
No improvisation with “appelants”.
