Thanks Dorleac for your comments on Back Packs - looks just like a typical norml mountain back pack and very good for carrying a load. I've an old Karrimor Jaguar which is very similar but haven't thought of using it to carry Roe Bucks out of the woods. I have a new piece of ground where the carry out is a god few miles. Do you wrap the Isard in a waterproof bag to keep to keep the blood off the pack and the rest of your kit, or do you just give it a good wash when you are finished? Is there any difference between an Isard and a Chamois, or Isard the local name for them in the Pyranees. Beautiful rifles - I am sure that life is too short to waste time hunting with plastic stocked horrors unbalanced with Bipods and Moderators as seem to be all the fashion in the UK. |
