Agusa is one of the biggest fenced areas for hunting in Sweden. Itīs 300 ha big with one hunting area and also some small training areas for dogs. I was there for two days, the first day to train my Deutsche Bracke on Wildboars and yesterday for hunting. In the hunting area they donīt use dog, the animals are driven by beaters. Animals in the area are wildboar, Fallow Deer and Red Deer. Because itīs so big you donīt have the feeling of hunting in a fenced area. The animals are Wild, some years ago one of the beaters were cut up of one of the big male Boars. A deep long cut on the inside of the leg, he was close to death. It was rather hard conditions yesterday, hard for the beaters to get the Wildboars running because of the snow. I did shoot three Boars in the morning but none on the rest of the day. All together we shot seven Boars and no other animals, so it is not that easy to hunt them down. We had a great time. Pics of the Boars are from the training area. I hope you enjoy it! Staffan
