I donīt know if itīs boring to see this hunts in the north. They are rather similar, but this was a really great one. We were 7 hunters that were invited by Swedish state forest department. This was in the south of Sweden. We stayed in a very nice Inn with very good food. It was a very well organized hunt. Mostly people but also dogs that were supposed to get the game towards us, the hunters. We were supposed to shoot Roedeer, Fallow deer and Wildboar. I am used to hunt in thick forests but to have a stand in a Beech forest were you can see some hundreds meters is great. During this day we did have 200 Fallow and 70 Wildboar observations. I did shoot 2 Wildboars and 2 Fallow deers, one of the pigs I did like to shoot is a breed between a Wildboar and a tame pig. Unfortunately after my kills I was unsecure about my scope (or maybe I did shoot bad, I have not yet have had time to tried my rifle) because my hits was high and left. So at the end of the day I did not shoot on animals that I otherwise would had shot. But in my opinion this was a top class Swedish hunt with nice people. //Staffan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
