Re: A german driven hunt

I need someone to teach me how to blow one of these one day. I have one and am completely inept with it.

Quote:

It´s a long drive for a 2,5 hour hunt, 800 km and two ferrys. But as I have heard from some of the Australian friends, that’s nothing to complain about!

Long way for 2 1/2 hours but still an experience to enjoy.

He he, I would travel 9000 kms to shoot at one.

Had an acquaintance in Eastern Germany with more than one revier and he had too many boar on them, and they needed reducing too. Was supposed one day to go over for a swap hunt for the hunt I took him on over here, but decided not to follow it up for some reasons.

Staffan,

How difficult are the running shots? Some of the driven boar DVD's I've seen the boar are moving quite fast. Never been a great running game shot myself. How far away are the animals from your stand?

Thanks for posting. Enjoyed the short story and photos a lot.
