My other hunting reviere is partly in couple of kilometer long island in lake Saimaa. Normally that part of Lake Saimaa is covered with ice in this time of the year but now it is still open so i decided to take my terriers and other gears and go there.
I take my combigun just in case that i met lonely moosecalf that has been wandering there and 870 remington for possible ducks.

Morning was sunny and wind was calm but it was still bit cold.

First place was quite a big rock pile and there were running raccoondogs all over. One bolting out and get 180grainer trough its shoulder and two others i shot with revolver when dogs stopped them.

These two were under rock. First try to bolt out and i shot it with revolver and dog pulled otherone out with my assistance.

It was a good day and after all not so cold as it seemed in the morning.
