Has anyone hunted Slovenia in June, is there anything in Slovenia to hunt in June?

My wife is looking for a holiday and has passed a few brochures under my nose. I noticed one of the write-ups on Slovenia lists “good fishing and hunting”.

I don’t want to spend a week on a beach and would like to “slip away” for a few days if possible.

Hope someone can advise.
