This is a photo from a successful moose hunt in Sweden. One or two of these men should be relatives to me. I cant tell the year, early 19xx?? I think its interesting to see what they show up of rifles, the dog, other equipment, the appearence compared to today of the bull. It was very rare to shoot moose in Sweden those days. The population of moose have been increasing from 1950 and did peak in 1980-85. Mooses yearly shot in 1940 were under 10 000, and in 1982 it were 175 000. Today around 80 000 yearly. I hope you like this photo from the old days.
