We are smack dab in the middle of our bear season here {black} with my son hoping for a whack at one this weekend, so the subject seems timely for us.

What bear, where, seasons, guns & dogs used?

As an afterthought of sorts, I cannot think of a better gun for our uses here than a good double, but I've never seen one on a bear hunt. I know, I should fix that...
