Indeed so - it is applied on both 2-4 and 5-9 class - here is a part of 2006 red stags taken - if you look under the trophies there are letters A - perspective (non-shootable) and B - non perspective (shootable) trophy:
Once the stag reaches 10 years it is open without restrictions - some examples from 2006:
