Yes Art, I too wonder if 9,3x62 is enough gun for foxes..., maybe I should try my .470 the next time.

Concerning hunting roe deer, all I can say is that it is usually not difficult to get one, but to get a certain buck or a smallish fawn is another story. We try to sort out the weaker roe deer but then where I hunt there are not many small antlers to be seen, so the choice is not easy. The hunting authorities tell us how many roe deer we have to shoot, if You shoot more it`s no problem but if You don`t shoot enough You get trouble. Also we have to manage the bagging of deer with the peaks of demand, which is usually just before christmas, so the two weeks before christmas we hunt quite often. Somehow we manage it to get the job done. There are other hunts I like more but hunting roe deer is the "work" part of hunting here.
