When I was a kid on the farm in N Dakota, I use to use guts,etc to trap fox in the fall in winter for some extra money. This was before the coyotes showed up..at that time there were quite a few around and price at that time was anywhere from $65 to $100 depending on fur quality and size...

Actually have some in our area now as well here in Montana--have seen them several times just in the past few weeks...

Not sure if you used a big enough gun...seemed like it barely knocked him over...
