Waidmannsdank Rod ! Maybe You can find the clip searching at youtube for "fox meets 9,3x62".
Foxes are not rare at all here, in fact they are a vermin taking a heavy toll on hares and ground-breeding birds. Even worse is that they carry diseases or parasites like echinococcus multilocularis that may kill You if You get infected with that worm.
Some hunters call them in using hare distress calls or mice calls but I took the three fellows waiting for a roe deer fawn to shoot.
Another common method is baiting using guts from game previously shot or crows, road kills etc.
Some hunters use traps but due to weird laws that dictate a warning sign near the trap this is not advisable in heavy populated areas, most traps will be stolen or destroyed by city-people/bunny huggers.
I love hunting foxes late in the winter when all required roe deer are bagged and I can enjoy the special atmosphere that comes with the cold season.
