I had a look and yes the Browning HiPower seems to have a wooden holster, butt stock, similar to the C96. I wasn't aware of that at all.

The Browning HiPower had a good reputation as a handgun. Why did they stop using it?

Australian Military used it, the SASR often did, and many other countries.
