It is my understanding, that Springfield Armory (SA), 1911's are no longer made in Brazil(?), and are now being made in the USA.
I have read a coupla other reviews on the new SA 1911's, and all of them are impressive, and even glowing in their accolades.
And so they should be Best Quality!
With modern computer design and CNC machining, there is probably only 2 minutes of manufacturing time, between pretty good and Bloody Impressive, when it comes to tightness of tolerances!

Yes Nitro Express, these blokes (especially Rob Leatham), are some of The Best at what they do, on the planet!
