I'm a newbie, just getting started.

Self defence and hunting are not legal uses in South Aust. But maybe I might venture to places with more freedom and libertarian values.

My first, shouldn't be really on the list. Wanted an STI Trojan 1911 and the almost new .38 Super was there. Use is for whatever might happen, indoor club target shooting and onecday major class IPSC competition. It needs a better front sight.

My next will be a cheapish .22 RF target pistol. Probably a Ruger mk IV or whatever the model is called now. Use indoor club shooting. I would use it for fun plinking if non club use was allowed.

Not sure about this model, but would love to try rabbit hunting with one, wherever it might be legal. Will start on new thread.

I will need a 9 mm. My choice would be a SIG P226. Indoor club competition, minor class IPSC. Zombies and the apocalypse.

Everyone needs a Colt Govt 1911 .45 ACP. Not possible here. Coppers think they are evil. For major class IPSC. Historical attraction. Serious zombie knockdown power.

I do want a .577 Snider Howdah. For my own Howdah charging tiger competition. Maybe the BGRC Howdah comp. Historical antique attraction.
