I used a club STI Trojan in 9 mm and liked it a lot. And it felt right. Discontinued model. Simple but works. Have five magazines for it. Second hand but near new. The springs are very tight. Good. It needs new sights. Maybe a fibre optic dot on the front sight and a couple flanking painted dots on the rear. I find the existing sight harder to see quickly to shoot well quickly. I won't use a dot sight on this handgun. Keep it basic. Have 300 loaded cartridges for it. Should get some more. A fair number of projectiles and primers and maybe brass (?). No powder. Unobtainable at present. Need dies and a press still. Need will be a 9 mm sometime when the wallet allows. I do quite like the steel frame Walther Q5. A completely different style of handgun. The two stage trigger ismnot sure about. But a SIG P226 (?) double Action 9 mm would possibly be preferable. Sillily did not buy a second hand one at good price when available. I think they went quickly. Only one magazine. Additional mags could cost a lot if findable. |
