There's another point to be aware of also. The standard 7.65mm round would not run the Luger Carbine. There was a special, higher powered round that was used for the Carbine. It had the same dimensions as the standard round, but was much higher powered so it would operate the heavier mechanism.

I don't have any of the original Carbine ammo, but I suppose it would be no problem to load the equivalent.

I haven't shot my Carbine. Don't plan to.
