I've always had better luck with the Ubertis, but sample size is only a dozen or so spread across production of many years. From what I've seen amongst the CAS shooters, I think maybe the Uberti copies of the 1873 Model P are a bit more common. Curiously, C&B revolvers of recent production. Uberti has always had a problem with arbor length; Pietta's recent production has seemingly solved that problem. (For myself, I'd still prefer an Uberti, knowing I'll probably have to correct the arbor situation.) |
