I've shot a fair amount of Buffalo Bore ammo, and can tell you their posted velocities are conservative. When I'm bow hunting I carry a stainless Kimber 45 loaded with Buffalo bore 45 supers.
a 230 gr truncated cone bullet at 1100fps from a 4" barrel.
