There likely will be more wear & tear on the shooter than the gun. 400 - 500 shots per day is quite lot. The shooter has to be in good shape as that level of shooting is fatiguing. While on a pistol team, the most we did in a day was 270 rounds (90 HB 90 CF, 90 22) & that was tiring.
