"Action Games" such as IPSC and IDPA help somewhat, in

prepping for higher stress levels during firing.

PPC and other benign stand-up or bench shooting regimes help very little.

Stress of actually being under-fire, is something else again.

Never been there, hope I never am, but "think" I am slightly

better prepared than many or most 'Sunday' Shooters.
