It was a hoot to shoot and there's always the 'romance' of shooting a Civil War arm, even if it's a replica. I traded that away years ago (they're quite collectible, now) but still have a Japanese made reproduction 1861 Springfield Rifled Musket that hasn't seen powder for a couple of decades.
