I have a couple 19's..like them but have to admit personally I like my H&K VP9 better in a couple ways..better factory sights, trigger and ergonomics IMHO...
My wife really likes the S&W Shield as well as the Kimber Solo which has a red dot sight...think as the article suggests..really depends on size of the person, hands, tolerance to recoil, experience, etc...
