Fine looking Colt. The engraving is tasteful, not overly done. Thanks for posting this.

There are certain iconic handguns out there, such as the Luger, 1911, S&W's, and of course the Colt Single Action Army.

I've carried and used in the field a (several) Colt Single Action Army revolvers for over 42 years now, with the .44 Special being a favorite chambering. IF could only have one "packing" handgun for general carry and everyday use in the field, it would be Colt SAA in .44 Special or .45 Colt. They work very well. Were I to use a handgun primarily as a hunting handgun or to carry for self defense, then my mileage would vary - but a Colt SAA could work also.

Agree...the SAA is a very iconic handgun along with several others you've mentioned..another I have also admired is the Colt Python...have owned several..IMHO, one of the best revolvers ever made...

As to the SAA, my choice is the 45 LC ..great match...
