9 separate wound channels-I find it hard to believe that the 8 pieces that break off will have enough mass to penetrate deeply enough to make a real difference. Sounds like the bullet is just a tool for making the surgeon's job a little nastier, whether the person who gets shot is a good guy or bad. I'll stick to hollowpoints that stay in one piece. Nothing wrong with a good bonded jacketed hollowpoint. In a handgun caliber anything else is just a gimmick.
