A few N-Frame Smith & Wessons I've gathered lately. Just thought I would share an image. From left to right, back row: Model 1955 Target .45ACP - very early, delivered in 1955. 6.5" barrel. Model 1950 Target .44 Spl. - dates to 1955. 6.5" barrel. Model 1955 Target .45ACP - Model 25-2 - dates to 1980. 6" barrel. From left to right, front row: Model 1950 Target .44 Spl. - delivered 1954. 6.5" barrel. Very rare with factory fitted lanyard loop. .357 Magnum (pre-Model 27) dates to 1954. 6" barrel. Model 27-2, dates to 1973. 5" barrel. As most of you will know, the Model 1955 Target uses either "half-moon" or "full-moon" clips to hold the rimless round and enable extraction. The full-moon clips are just like a handy speed loader. Here's a rather silly photo of me hamming it up with ten "full-moon" clips ready to go. My daughter took this picture at the shooting range yesterday. All in good fun, and what a beautiful day we had! Curl |
