Thanks for posting your American Eagle Luger. Beautiful example of gun crafting. Here in louisiana all you ever see is the usual high priced junk. Shot out bores and mismatched parts. Was looking through Guns & Ammo 1964 issue and with the exception of one luger at $150 all the rest were under $100. Ah for the good old days. Course in 1964 I had just enlisted in the Navy and since living in New York assembling a luger collection would have been impossible. Think I was making $1.95 an hour shoveling coal.
