Caspian appears to be a good choice. What you might also think about is to get a set of springs with different lbs / resistance settings, so that you can try which works best. 10 mm guns especially benefit from a spring that is matched to a particular slide / ammo. I had some initial feeding issues that I could solve that way. Equally, installing a guide-rod buffer helps with a powerful cartridge like that. I installed one that works quite well. A 6 inch slide already eliminates wear issues to a degree, but I would try it anyhow, as this part is very cheap and 10 mms are hard on the slide- early Colt Delta models were known to develop cracked slides. |
