I'll second the votes for Fusion. if I ever get around to starting I'll be building one myself. I have built using their parts before, and the company's owner(who was the vice president of Dan Wesson before they were sold) will quickly answer any question you have. Another big plus is the availability of pre-fitted kits for those who lack the tools to fit a slide and barrel. The hard work is done already, now you buy the other parts, assemble, test and choose your finish.
