Re: 10mm Auto on a 1911 type frame?

Gentlemen,

not exactly the subject, but I own a LAR Grizzly in 45 WinMag with an additional 5 1/4" barrel/spring/magazine set in 10mm Auto.
The pistol has a good weight and, therefore, a recoil which is good to control (like a .45 ACP in a standard 1911).
But I suspect the recoil of a full house 10mm Auto in a standard 1911 frame to be difficult to control for longer shooting sessions (i.e. IPSC matches).

I like the 10mm Auto very much because it is in the LAR a very precise cartridge and easy to reload.

best regards
Rolf
