Yeah this seems to be the general veiw I've heard. Because the gun is so heavy the recoil is not as bad. Aparently the recoil with some of the new tiny .357s is actually worse due to the almost non-existant weight (small gun size not bullet size). For the information of any Australians who wish to know, ALL handguns are banned from use OUTSIDE A PISTOL CLUB unless you have a special handgun hunting license which are VERY hard to come by. If you wish to use one in a club, think again .38 is now the largest legal calibre. But it is still cool to find out about, even if we have to go to the US to shoot one, which I plan to do some day. These are a very impressive gun and I would buy one in a second given a chance... |
