I have seen a lot of those big double barreled flintlock/percussion pistols, and they were always called a saddlepistol or a travellers pistol.

The latest years they have been called a howdah? Il bet it has something to do with the value.

But its sure is a nice pistol, and together with ist longer sister, not bad at all.
