Ovny: I have a small collection of ASTRA pistols. .25 cub, Mod 400 (1921) 9MM Largo and Mod 600 9MM Parabelum. All are very rugged and accurate pistols. I particularly like the 1921. It handles and points very well and is hard to have better accuracy. I also have a STAR super, 9MM Largo (with extra barrels) Ported 9mm Parabelum and also another Largo barrel in Stainless steel. Great shooter and the take down is so simple. Of Spanish revolvers, I have a Buenos Aires Police issue (circa. 1890-1900) in .38 largo. It is very much like the Smith and Wesson M+P. One I do not have any longer is my Llama Camanche .357 mag. This one served me for some 15 years and then traded in when I wanted to go into more classic weapons. I agree with Marrakai. Spanish handguns are very under appreciated, at least in the USA. |
