Hello Folks,

Recently I traded for a 10 inch 32 H&R Mag Contender barrel. I'll shoot it for awhile just for grins (it IS fun to shoot), but I don't really see a good use for it. FYI, the best load seems to be a 110 gr Sierra HP at about 1100 fps. I'm wondering to what I might rechamber this 1:10 twist, .308 cal barrel that might prove more interesting.

Presently I have a 1:14 twist, 10 inch 30 Herrett barrel, which stabilizes 125 - 150 gr bullets pretty well. I also have a 1:10 twist 14 inch 309 JDJ barrel that works well with 180 gr bullets at about 2200 fps. (BTW, I find the 14 inch barrel cumbersome, anybody want to trade?) So, what else do you guys think might be good?
