if you have a controllede place(he cant run to far away) hide when he runs off, and wait for him to find out that you vanished. shouldent take more than 15 min before he come bolting after your. i do so that i can see them but they cant see me, when they start to seem nervous you call or whistle and lots of praise when they return. they learn the whistle real quick and never forget thats why i start training them early, so it will stick for a life time.
