Those are valid questions. My experience is that the GSP is among the most intelligent of dogs. And as such will demand attention and love. I don't believe they need as much exercisers as breeders say, however they are energetic breeds. They are not god dogs to rough house with because they can be explosive and will knock flat on your ass. They have a nervous demeanor and pace a lot.
